MatchMove Games held a Resort World promo which started on 11th July, just in time for some summer fun! We wanted to reward the new player who put in the effort to run an exciting, thriving resort.

After monitoring the players’ progress daily, we are pleased to announce that a victor has emerged! Minh Dat from Vietnam blazed on to become the first new player to hit Level 20. Minh Dat was awarded with a coveted Apple iPad 2 for being the winner!

We also caught up with Minh Dat, who has been a MatchMove Games member since April 2011, to find out more about the man behind the win!

MatchMove Games: So, we know you run an awesome, thriving resort in Resort World. What’s your real world job?
Minh Dat: I work for a software company. I play games in my free time and when I need to relax.

MatchMove Games: How often do you play MatchMove Games?.
Minh Dat: Every waking moment”! I even log in to collect my “profits” in the games every 5 minutes.

MatchMove Games: If you had to pick only ONE game to play for the rest of your life, what would it be? It can be ANY game!
Minh Dat: Oh, the question is very difficult to answer. I play many games – I’m currently playing 5 MatchMove Games, as well as other online games. But I think I’ll choose Resort Word because when I play, I feel like I am a billionaire!

MatchMove Games: Is this your first time taking part in a MatchMove Games contest?
Minh Dat: Yes. When I received an email about the contest, I started playing immediately.

MatchMove Games: What we like about Resort World is how it puts us in a holiday mood while we secretly play it under our boss’ nose at work. What do you like most about Resort World?
Minh Dat: I like Resort World because I feel as though I am billionaire. I can buy everything which cannot be bought in my real life.

MatchMove Games: You’re a blazingly fast Resort World Leveling Pro now! What is your secret to leveling to 20 so fast?
I build as many cottages as I can. Every 5 minutes, I log in to collect my profit and earn my XP. I try to collect many Collections to sell and get as much XP as possible. I visit my friends’ resorts to collect the pirate treasures found on their islands. I also build many things to receive the building medals. Finally, I make many friends to help them and they help me as well! (Writer’s Note: Yes guys, friends are important!! Go forth and make more MatchMove Games friends!)
