Frost & Sullivan Names MatchMove a Double Winner in Embedded Finance and Cross-Border Payments for 2026

The Singapore-based Banking-as-a-Service provider takes home both the 2026 Asia-Pacific Cross-Border Payment and Remittance Solution Technology Innovation Leadership and the 2026 Singapore Embedded Finance Company of the Year recognitions.

SINGAPORE, 29 July 2026 — MatchMove has been recognised by Frost & Sullivan with two of its 2026 Best Practices awards: the Asia-Pacific Cross-Border Payment and Remittance Solution Technology Innovation Leadership Recognition and the Singapore Embedded Finance Company of the Year Recognition. The dual recognition places MatchMove among the region's most influential embedded finance and cross-border payment infrastructure providers.

Both awards follow Frost & Sullivan's 12-month benchmarking process, which evaluates companies across strategy effectiveness and strategy execution. According to Frost & Sullivan, MatchMove excelled in both — demonstrating its ability to anticipate market evolution, align innovation with customer needs, and deliver scalable financial infrastructure across diverse markets.

Across Asia-Pacific, enterprises are racing to embed banking, cards and payments directly into their own apps — yet most still stitch together separate providers for wallets, card issuance, remittance and compliance, at a higher total cost of ownership and a slower time-to-market. Frost & Sullivan's analysis puts the APAC embedded payment market on a 22.3% compound annual growth rate between 2023 and 2029, while the region's cross-border payment and remittance market for personal transactions is projected to reach approximately US$640 billion by 2030 (Frost & Sullivan, 2026).

"Earning both recognitions in the same year reflects what we care about most — that our platform works at the speed our customers need. Every day, enterprises across Asia-Pacific use MatchMove to issue cards, move money across borders, and embed financial services into their products without becoming a bank themselves. That's a hard problem to solve at scale across multiple regulatory regimes and currencies, and we've spent years engineering it to feel simple. This recognition from Frost & Sullivan tells the market that MatchMove is the partner of choice for enterprises serious about accelerating digital transformation through embedded finance." — Amar Abrol, President and Co-founder, MatchMove

MatchMove's proprietary, MAS-regulated Banking Wallet OS™ brings cross-border payments, card issuance, virtual accounts, fund collection and payouts together on a single platform. Businesses launch compliant financial products through one integration — rather than negotiating and maintaining separate contracts with banks, card schemes and compliance vendors. Compliance is embedded directly into the platform architecture rather than bolted on afterward, and intelligent payment orchestration routes transactions across global corridors by cost, speed and risk. For the enterprises that adopt it, embedded financial services become a new revenue line rather than an operational burden — and reach production in weeks, not months.

"MatchMove empowers enterprises with a unified platform for digital wallets, card issuance, remittance, multi-currency settlement, and Web 3.0, enabling seamless and compliant global money movement." — Dewi Rengganis, Senior Industry Analyst, ICT, Frost & Sullivan

The recognitions draw on a partner roster spanning regulated banks and high-growth digital platforms across Southeast Asia and the Middle East — from BNPL provider Salmon and licensed bank ECIBank, to co-branded card programmes with Asia United Bank (AUB) in the Philippines and Bank Index in Indonesia, and money transfer operator LuLu Money. In 2025, the platform processed over US$5 billion, issued more than 4 million cards, and reached more than 200 payout countries through over 100 partners.

Frost & Sullivan presents its Technology Innovation Leadership recognition to a company that demonstrates exceptional technological advancement and commercialisation, resulting in meaningful market impact and competitive differentiation. Its Company of the Year recognition honours organisations that consistently excel in vision, innovation, customer value and growth strategy while setting new benchmarks within their industries.
